Description Hexagonal nut that widens from the bottom with an enlarged circular base. The bearing surface of the nut displaces material from the mating surface when the nut is tightened, forming a connection that resists loosening.
Application Commonly used as a security nut for sheet metal, metal and wood.
Material Steel that meets the following chemical requirements: Carbon: max 0.47%; Phosphorus: 0.12%; Sulfur: max 0.23%.
Heat Treatment The nuts are hardened to guarantee their gripping capacity.
Core hardness Rockwell HR15N 78 - 90
Coating Electrolytic galvanized.
